Excel Performing Arts is an exciting performing arts school in St Albans and has been set up from the need to find good quality training that is not only fun but taught by professionals with a wealth of performance and teaching experience. We offer high quality classes in Ballet, Tap, Street Dance, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Drama and Singing for students from 4 years old.

Under the expert direction of Leading West End Performer – Steven Houghton, who has for the last twenty years worked extensively in television, film and as a leading man in the West End. With over twelve West End shows under his belt as well as an Olivier nomination, he more than qualifies to pass on his knowledge and expertise. Steven teaches and lectures all over the country for professional performing arts schools as well as for dance associations such as British Association of Dance Teachers and the International Dance Teachers Association. Naturally all staff are fully insured and CRB checked.

Excel Performing Arts is working in partnership with the St Albans South Extended Schools Consortium to provide extended opportunities for children and their families.
